Digital Grounding Device with Live Monitoring

Rasnal's advanced Digital Grounding Device with Monitoring does more than protect your equipment — it gives you a continuous, real-time view of your grounding system's health.

Live Earth resistance, Earth-Neutral voltage, surge event history, and power status are all displayed on a 4-inch industrial touchscreen and accessible remotely over your LAN.

With built-in data logging, USB export, and an alarm relay output, it turns grounding from a hidden infrastructure element into a measurable, auditable operating parameter.

Frequently Asked Questions — Digital Grounding Device with Monitoring

What parameters does the monitoring device display?

The 4-inch touchscreen displays Earth resistance value, Earth-Neutral voltage, surge event count, surge magnitude, power parameters, and system status — all on a single screen simultaneously

How much data history does the device store?

The device logs all parameters automatically with date and time stamps. The last 3 months of logged data can be viewed directly on the device touchscreen. For longer records, data can be exported to USB at any time.

What happens if the device detects that Earth resistance has risen above a safe level?

When Earth resistance exceeds the preset threshold, the alarm system activates immediately — triggering the NO/NC relay output (which activates any connected external hooter or alarm) and providing a visible alert on the touchscreen. The event is also logged with a date and time stamp for future reference.

Is this device suitable for use in hospitals or medical facilities?

Yes. The device's continuous Earth resistance and Earth-Neutral voltage monitoring, combined with automatic data logging and PDF/Excel export, directly supports the electrical safety compliance and audit requirements typical of hospital and healthcare facility environments.

Does this device still provide surge protection, or is it only a monitoring device?

It provides full digital grounding and surge protection — the same energy conversion platform used across the entire Rasnal VKP range. The monitoring features are additive. Protection performance is not reduced by the monitoring functions; both operate simultaneously and independently.

Is the HAFED series certified?

Yes. Both variants are certified to European Standard EN 15276-1:2019 and EN 15276-2:2019 — the benchmark for aerosol fire suppression systems.
